#3 AI in Journalism

 Artificial Intelligence or (AI) has helped transform the world into what it is today. AI can help aid in content creation, proofreading, enhancing  audience engagement and ensuring information is understood. AI is used to help mold an individuals media consumption to their specific needs. Examples of this would be Tik Tok, Instagram reels and feed, and Facebook.

AI in SnapChat

Snapchat AI has been one of the newest AI development. The creators of Snapchat have created snapchat AI with the hopes of seeing the younger demographic using my ai. On snapchat AI is personalized to you and exactly what you want it to be. You can change the gender, clothes, color, and customize your AI in anyway possible. The creators of snapchat did this on purpose and it is genius on their part. With this being the case My AI seems more like a person rather than a bot making the AI which is catering to the younger demographic. Below are some examples of Snapchat AI. CNN

How Are people using SnapChat AI? 

1. Summaries, and math problems. AI on Snap states it can solve algebraic solutions by sending a picture. As you can see I asked for a summary of The Little House on the Prairie and it gave me a summary, a theme, setting, and even sent me a link to buy the book. 
2. Enhancing sentences. Just like other AI platforms My AI on snap can enhance my sentence and look for error by using its system. It will send an alternative to the sentence or help you sound more scholarly. 
3. Writing a song? An individual on Tik Tok when My AI was still pretty fresh asked for it to write her a song. My AI wrote her a song, she sang it and posted it on Tik Tok getting over 1.5 million likes.

Is My AI safe? 

The quick release of My AI have been alarming for parents with teenagers using snapchat, but according to SnapChat headquarters it is safe. The platform of AI is GPT 3.5 and GPT4 which is the system many other AI platforms use. Another positive of MyAI is it looks out for the individual using it. For example if a person was walking about hurting themselves and talking to AI it would send them resources such as. phone numbers, and solutions to help prevent them from doing so.

My use and experience with Snapchat AI. 

I have used SnapChat AI more than I have used any other forms of AI. I find it much easier to use My AI since I typically am on media platforms rather than internet systems. This summer when preparing for an interview I was kind of stumped on what to say and was at a roadblock for answers. So I used My AI to help me with some questions. I asked questions about traditions at SAU, and why I wanted to work orientation this summer. When I asked the question it sent me several ways to word specific questions to sound more professional. With the recent development of snapchat being available to desktop and laptop computers it makes access to MyAI much easier.
