# 6 Campus Crime

 Four people shot and injured during NCCU homecoming weekend in second of two shootings.

Two shootings send NCCU into a panic during its homecoming. According to news observer the event took place at 7:45 police sent out an alert of an active shooter. The event took place during the time hundreds of students, alumni, and guests attended the homecoming. During the first incident there were no injuries reported and no one was shot. After this the police then cleared campus and carried on with their activities. Just over an hour later a second incident took place. For the second incident 4 individuals one being a student were shot and left with non-life threatening injuries. The campus was then out on lock down until close to midnight. North Caroline Central University has offered condolences and help to those injured and also offering their counseling services to students who may be struggling. 

And as if it wasn't already bad enough it was an assistant professor who is being charged with his crime of harming the 4 individuals. News Release
