Taylor Swift gave $197 million in bonuses to Eras Tour performers and crew.

Taylor Swift has been on tour for almost 2 years, including stops in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Its final show took place on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver. With this Taylor has made some record breaking accomplishments, not only with the tour but with her personal life and becoming a billionaire.  New York Post states that Taylor raked in over 2 billion in ticket sales, over her 2 year tour journey. With these crazy numbers of profit she gave over 197 million dollars in bonuses to her team. 

 

Each concert was over three hours long, featuring 44 songs organized into ten sets representing different "eras" of Swift's career. he tour featured an array of talented artists as openers, including Phoebe Bridgers, Paramore, Sabrina Carpenter, Haim, and Gracie Abrams. Along with her record breaking concert she continued to break even more records. n addition to shattering records, Swift was the top-streamed artist of 2024 on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, and her eleventh-studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD), was the top-streamed album of the year. Alongside the tour, Swift released re-recorded albums (Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version)), the concert film The Eras Tour, and a best-selling photo book about the tour​. 

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has had a massive economic impact, likened to hosting multiple Super Bowls in the cities it visited. The tour generated an estimated $5 to $10 billion in the U.S. economy alone, including direct spending on tickets, merchandise, lodging, food, and transportation. Each attendee spent an average of $1,300 during their visit to host cities, greatly benefiting local businesses and tourism industries.
